CSI 228

Hi, it's the last day on the CSI 228 and I spent some time working with this yesterday. I really wanted to show the best Weekend in April last year: when we were on a big scrap event in 3 days. 

Here is my LO:

And here is details about how I solved it:

Scheme: I used all colors.

Evidence: solid background, chevrons, arabesque shapes, branches, flowers, silver metal, something transparent,  jars, puffy stickers

Testimony: main testimony is: write a card

(But I also found some other testimonies like: the 21 april question: "Where did you spend the most time today" (answer: at a scrap event), and some writing about "home", I'm not writing about my husband but just to my husband, write on a artisan  shaped label).

A super small letter where I thank my husband for coming and bring us by car, from the scrap event late on Saturday evening.

Here is my translated card to my husband: 

"Hi Patrik, as you have noticed I haven't been at home so much this weekend. We have had fantastic amazing at this scrap-event: workshops, shopping and crafting. Now we are sitting and eating and have some wine and celabrate my 50 years birthday. Gunilla"

Veckans Skiss #148

Jag fortsätter med mitt PL-album och det finns inget slut när det gäller det albumet! Men det viktiga är att inte känna stress utan vara nöjd med det jag hinner med. Här har jag följt Veckans Skiss (se länk), som Zildara gjort och som ser ut så här:  

Min tolkning blev ett titelkort för vecka 14, för mitt PL-album:

De lila och gröna papprena som jag använt i både bakgrund och vimplar, är från Kaisercraft, otroligt vackra, och kommer från #Pyssloteket (i samband med en vinst från i somras). 

Sen har jag fyllt i med en glittrig washi-tejp och en lila smal tejp, båda från #Sirapiparis.

CSI No 227

Hi again, 
so happy to join the CSI again (see link), there are many things to think about when joining the challenge but that makes it sometimes easier to create. Today I am happy to use old embellishments I found at home, for example the big flowers in felt (is that the right English word?).

Here is the case for April:

And here is my LO I created:

I followed the color scheme and the sketch.

As evidence I used:

Floral pattern, something fuzzy=felt or fabric, animals, flowers, wood, frames

As testimony I used:

Documentation about pets. Actually I have also used the word "hunger" in the journaling, that is typical for my dog. 

Here are some closer looks on the evidences and testimony:

The title says: "My life with dog"

Inspired from a movie title: "My life as dog"

The journaling is about my pet and here is the translations to English: 

The best thing about having a dog is the joy and love that come with it. Moreover, we also get closer together in the family and laugh often. I was not really excited to get a dog from the beginning, but now I'm the one that most spend time together with our loved Billy. Sometimes I take care of Joe's dogs Q-tip and Mimi and it was these dogs who inspired me to acquire a puppy in 2012. Billy is kind, patient, playful, like to swim, hungry, happy and need the social contact with us. He dislikes bangs and cartons (!), But he likes us and we like him.

Veckans Skiss #147

Idag har jag feber, men det fanns en liten gnutta energi kvar på kvällen för att göra ett litet PL-kort efter "Veckans Skiss" (se länk). 

Här är skissen som Malin gjort, min plan var från början en LO, men jag orkade inte:

Veckans Skiss #146

Jag vann ett så fint litet kit från "Idas Magasin" i  "Veckans Skiss" i januaris utlottning, och ville gärna använda det kitet. Så Annas fina skiss i "Veckans Skiss" passade ju perfekt (se länk, och bild nedanför).

Här är min super-enkla tolkning som blev ett titelkort för ett påskuppslag i mitt PL-album. mer CAS kan det nästan inte bli när själva PL-kortet är så dekorativt i sig själv:

Är inte dessa puffy stickers som jag hittade på TGR-butiken helt bedårande (vi har en i Kista galleria och det finns dessa butiker lite runt om i Sverige - en dansk kedja som också heter "Flying Tiger"). 

Jag har dekorerat med en gammal "negativ"-overlay från gömmorna och blingstenar jag köpt i Spanien.

CSI No 226

I loved the colors in this CSI case no 226 (see link) , so I really HAD to do one more LO, even if I didn't have the time actually. But I had to think a lot on the journaling, because I wanted to do it a little bit specially this time. So here is how I solved the case: 

Here is the description of the case: 

I followed the colors, mostly pink and white as you see.

The evidence:

cross-hatch pattern, bow, light bulb, animals, butterfly, bunting/banners, hearts, flowers, tree, plants (on photo), transparant stuff, enamel figures (not dots),

The testimony:

-Write what makes me happpy (see the jouarnaling in the end of this blog), 

-inspiration word in the journaling text: "idea", 

-write a list (one for each letter in H A P P Y (in my own way, one word per card),

Here is my list:

H for "Helgfirande" (= Holiday celebration)

A for "Allihop" (=Together)

P for "Plantera" (=to Plant)

P for "Påskgodis" (=Eastern candies)

Y for "You are my sunshine"

HAPPY

Why do I always have feeling of happiness at Easter?

Partly because the Eastern-celebration after a long winter. Then it's so wonderful to meet everyone! My family and my parents and siblings. The tradition in our home is that we should be searching for Easter eggs (with candies inside the egg), and I hid up one of the eggs in a tree. My own idea is to photograph the place where I hid the egg and then send an sms with the photo to someone. I love sweets and it includes Eastern eggs (specially the dragee eggs candies). I am also happy that the flowers start to come and would like to plant and see how it sprouts in the garden. In addition to the family I am happy to hang out with the dog Billy and his friend Q-tip.

Veckans Skiss #145

När man redan har ett dekorativt papper och inte vill pynta så mycket, ja då kan det sluta så här:

Jag har följt Veckans Skiss (se länk och bild): 

Ska jag vara ärlig så är kanske min LO lite väl rörig för min smak, men ibland måste man väl också göra en rörig LO...och på något sätt mildras det ned tack vare den stora tomma ytan.

Om vi går in och tittar på mina detaljer så ser det ju riktigt fint ut (alltså att titta på en sak i taget och inte på allt samtidigt):

Gullig 3D-fågel och glitter-grön favorit washi-tejp.

Bröt av allt det pastelliga med svarta dekor-blings.

Väldigt mycket washi-tejp. 

Hade jag gjort om denna LO så hade jag valt svarta och gråa washi-tejp-remsor, det skulle nog blivit snyggare -men då vet jag det till nästa gång. Det här var en LO jag gjorde på min fika-rast, så den växte fram av rena impulser - och då blir det som det blir.
