CSI No. 236

Hi, 
Time for a new case at CSI (see link).  
I really wanted to document an adventure from last year in Austria.

Here is the LO:

And I followed this case: 

I used the scheme (colors).

I used the evidence: stripes, polka dots, banner, wet medium, bird, animal, twine, buttons, gold.

I used 2 testimony: 

"document an adventure" and  

"hang your journaling from string"

Here you can see that I hanged journaling and banner from a string. You can see my bird (a hen that was walking around at the tables when we had lunch), and buttons.

I like this funny clothespin. 

I had a lot of journaling as you can see.

On the bigger journaling I have documented about the tough trip up to the mountain in Austria. On the smaller tags that was hanging from the string I documented about why we went to Austria (my fathers 75-years birthday), and who I travelled with, when, and where. 

And in the envelope I hided a map of the mountain and on the tag I pasted some other places that we visited during this journey.

CSI No 227

Hi again, 
so happy to join the CSI again (see link), there are many things to think about when joining the challenge but that makes it sometimes easier to create. Today I am happy to use old embellishments I found at home, for example the big flowers in felt (is that the right English word?).

Here is the case for April:

And here is my LO I created:

I followed the color scheme and the sketch.

As evidence I used:

Floral pattern, something fuzzy=felt or fabric, animals, flowers, wood, frames

As testimony I used:

Documentation about pets. Actually I have also used the word "hunger" in the journaling, that is typical for my dog.

The title says: "My life with dog"

Inspired from a movie title: "My life as dog"

The journaling is about my pet and here is the translations to English: 

The best thing about having a dog is the joy and love that come with it. Moreover, we also get closer together in the family and laugh often. I was not really excited to get a dog from the beginning, but now I'm the one that most spend time together with our loved Billy. Sometimes I take care of Joe's dogs Q-tip and Mimi and it was these dogs who inspired me to acquire a puppy in 2012. Billy is kind, patient, playful, like to swim, hungry, happy and need the social contact with us. He dislikes bangs and cartons (!), But he likes us and we like him.

Veckans Skiss #145

När man redan har ett dekorativt papper och inte vill pynta så mycket, ja då kan det sluta så här:

Jag har följt Veckans Skiss (se länk och bild): 

Ska jag vara ärlig så är kanske min LO lite väl rörig för min smak, men ibland måste man väl också göra en rörig LO...och på något sätt mildras det ned tack vare den stora tomma ytan.

Om vi går in och tittar på mina detaljer så ser det ju riktigt fint ut (alltså att titta på en sak i taget och inte på allt samtidigt):

Gullig 3D-fågel och glitter-grön favorit washi-tejp.

Bröt av allt det pastelliga med svarta dekor-blings.

Väldigt mycket washi-tejp. 

Hade jag gjort om denna LO så hade jag valt svarta och gråa washi-tejp-remsor, det skulle nog blivit snyggare -men då vet jag det till nästa gång. Det här var en LO jag gjorde på min fika-rast, så den växte fram av rena impulser - och då blir det som det blir.

CSI No 225

Hi, this case (see link to CSI 225) was really something I wanted to create from, as I had the perfect picture of my husband from 1987. Here is the case:

And here is my LO:

I followed the colors and sketch. 

The Evidence :

Stripes, stars, clouds, washi tape, things that fly, eye glasses, circles, triangle.

The testimony: 

Inspiration words "fly", "impossible", "dream" - all words in my journaling.

I really like the small transparanted flags. I also wrote on a transparant paper the place where this happened: "Ljungbyhed" and the date is 1987 (small numbers that I cut from a bigger cardstock). 

My translated journaling about fly, impossible and dream:

The DREAM to FLY was not IMPOSSIBLE

To be accepted for fighter pilot training among 2000 candidates seemed impossible, but Patrik and 19 others were admitted in Ljungbyheds flight school in 1987. He wanted to try the test because it was the last chance, otherwise he would regret it - it was still an old boyhood dream that now came true.

CSI 221

It was really funny to solve the CSI clue last week, so now I really wanted to solve this case also (last day today) see the link to CSI 221.  (Specially because it's CSI's 5th birthday).

Here is the case file 221:

And here below is my LO.

I have followed the sketch and the colours. (Glad that I found the colours on the 2 photos also). 

From the evidence I used: tiny dots, grids, triangles, banner, pleats, puffy stickers.

From the testimony I used: birthday prompt 

My plan is to document a LO for my other even birthdays also: 10 years, 30 years, 40 years and 50 years.

Here you can have a closer look what I did with the pleats (brown paper). I sticked in different things into the pleat (fold), wasn't that a funny idea? You can also see that the cup cake is a puffy stickers.  The tiny dots are on a small plastic bag I found among my scrap, that I reused and then filled with some confetti in light green and pink.

Veckans Skiss #135

Jag fortsatte med mitt mini-oktoberalbum ikväll, och ville följa Veckans Skiss (se länk), som är så fin och ser ut så här:

Min tolkning idag blev en riktig "out of my box" när det gäller färger, 

men ibland måste man våga prova.

Project Life Sweden hade gett oss uppdrag under "30 dagar i oktober" att den 22 okt fota det vackraste vi såg under dagen och det blev denna krasse-blomma i vår trädgård.

PL-sida med matchande LO i grönt-svart-vitt

Även om jag älskar att göra PL-sidor vill jag ibland även göra en LO. Det kan vara för att jag vill låta ett enda foto verkligen få komma i centrum. Här ville jag visa upp min son som jag är så stolt över för att han renoverat en båt alldeles själv och äntligen fick provköra den (förra sommaren): 

Till denna ville jag sen matcha en PL-sida och dessutom utmana mig själv att göra den CAS, vilket jag har väldigt svårt för men tycker är så snyggt! 

Jag har inspirerats av den härliga Scrap-butiken hos "Sirap i Paris" (se länk) när jag har tillverkat denna PL-sida, för där gillar de randigt, tigermönstrat, rosor, och svart/vitt:

De härliga grönvita pappren är faktiskt baksidan på jordgubbspapper som jag gjorde till maj-utfordringen 2016 för PL i Norge. 

Rosen är en rubons och sen har jag använt stämplar och pappers-stickers från gömmorna.
