Veckans Skiss #324

 Hej,

I mitt Project Life album dokumenterade jag över temat "Light" under en vecka, hur ljuset börjar komma tillbaks i februari och vad som är ljuset i mitt liv mm

Jag ville så gärna använda en förstoring på ett större albumblad som påminde om en tidningsartikel i sin layout och passade på att följa Veckans Skiss:

Skissen som jag följde från Veckans Skiss ser ut så här: 

Jag klippte sönder ett PL-kort som det stod Light på och skar upp det och spred ut det så här. Sen på med en chip-board text (både kort och chip boards på sidan är från Ali Edwards). 

De dekorationer jag gjorde var superenkla, jag har här stämplat noter på det gula papper som blev över från det sönderklippta "Light-kortet" och satt på en genomskinlig epoxy-cirkel för att få lite struktur.

Lite fler dekorationer som jag skapade själv av stickers. De puffy-hjärta ni ser, hittade jag i mitt lilla lager - perfekt i färg:

March Scrap Our Stash Challenge

 I like the idea to get some creative ideas from  Scrap Our Stash Challenge  when doing LO's. Right now I'm documenting digital usage, and here is my LO about digital fun things during February. 

As we are forced into the digital world these times during Corona, I think it's important to document about that. 

This Challenge was about follow the sketch and use washi tape.

I like surprises and to hide things on my LO, and did a flip up.

The flip up is just fastened by a washi tape.

And I am hiding the game I play every night on my ipad. 

I have a lot of technical decorations from Ali Edwards story kit called "Tech" 

so I used them on this LO. 

Here is some documentation of the video clip we laughed to so much. (From a video meeting where one of the laywers couldn't get rid of the cat filter.)

The film strip is washi tape. 

And the documentation is about how much time we spend on digitals during this Corona time, and how our managers wants us to go out in the nature.

CSI No. 272 - a winter LO

I love the challenges from CSI to wake up my fantasy, and this time it was case file 272 that I wanted to scrap - to my January month in my Project Life album.

As we have had a lovely snowy winter I wanted to document that, and found this nice picture of my dog and his friend playing in the snow. I wanted to keep the whole LO as white and "snow like" as possible - that's why it's so white and CAS .

The scene: I used all colors but very little of the non white colors

Evidence:  Dots on a transparent paper behind the photo, winter elements, animals, string, mist, metal, cut file

Here are some closer view of my evidences:

Mist with extra glitter glue on the top, metallic brad, cut file ("season")

Winter element: snow flakes, Swedish snowing song "yeah see it's snowing, yeah see it's snowing, wasn't it funny, hurray!"

Animals (puffy stickers) and you can even see a carrot (one of the evidence).

CSI No 266

Hi, here is my LO where I followed the Classic way for CSI No 266 (see link).

I have used a lot of emballishments from the price I got from "Mystical Scrapbooks".

And here is the inspiration board:

As you see I have lighter colors but  it's similar.

Evidence: Stars, Hearts, Birds, Frames, Clock, Puffy stickers, something unexpected

Testimony: Journaling about what I do everyday + Journaling in a frame

Closer views:

Unexpected robot, but you can see a Clock in it and it can represent my son that really likes to play computer games. 

I have put the frames in different levels or dimensions with small 3d-pads.

In the journaling in the frames I just talked about what I do every day from morning to evening, and then I put photos that fit in to the journaling.

"Breakfast, walk the dog, taking the bike to job, bike back home to walk the dog, egg-lunch, job, afternoon coffee, dinner to whole family, practice car driving with son, chill, walk the dog with my husband late in the evening"

CSI No 265

Hi, I loved the colors and inspiration from CSI no 265 so I started during this weekend to create a LO by using a lot of stuff I had waiting for me.
Here is the result:

I followed the traditional way of CSI and had:

All colors.

These evidence:
Checker pattern (I think), Frames, Flower, Animal, Label, Puffy Stickers, Something shiny, gold

This testimony: Write a 6-word memoir (for the first time) and frame the journaling

CSI challenge #253

The lovely weather in cold Sweden has made me be outside more than inside, scrapping. But of course I wanted to participate in CSI challenge 253 (see link)  because I wanted to write the story about howI started to do scrapbooking.

So here is my LO:

And I chosed to follow the traditional way of CSI challenge. 

Here is the inspiration picture:

Colors: I used all

Evidence: Solid cardstock, die cuts, handcutting (turquose flowers), washi tape, leaves, paint, cirkles, metal

Testimony: Documented about my creative hobby, handwriting, word: beginnings

And som closer views with clues.

I like to do layers.

The testimony was handwritten and was about how I started scrapbooking. I first met a girl on a smaller stamp exhibition who invited me and a friend to a scrap meeting. I was creating cards by that time 2003, but really liked the scrap album idea and started after that. The same girl that invited me, I met later when I started to join scrap training for this girl (Therese). And I have participated in many! The only thing I found less good was that I could just use ONE photo per page, I wanted more. So when the Project Life came to my knowledge, I felt really "home" so I combine that with scrap book layouts. And nowadays I write more stories around the photo/photos. 

I also love scrap meetings, and these photos are from a scrap meeting where we made mini albums at "Sirap-i-Paris", that unfortunately had to close their webshop/business just recently (in May 2018). The best event every year is the biggest scrap meeting in Sweden (1-2000 participants) that also includes exhibition of scrap booking, planner, knitting, pearls. This is what I look forward to every year.

CSI challenge #251

Hi, here is a LO about when my son got his driving license and bought his dream car (not new, but really nice). I thought that all clouds could represent his dream about a white BMW and the driving license.  I was inspirated from CSI challenge nr 251 (see link).

And here is the inspiration picture.

I love to follow the traditional way of CSI challenge, so this is the clues:

Love the letters that is almost transparant, "KÖRKORT" is the same as "DRIVING LICENSE".

My favorite: a cute cloud in plastic that I got as a gift from the webshop "Sirap-i-Paris".

Testimony:Text directly on the LO, handwritten: I have answered the question 81 from the "Prompt idea" to choose a random question: "Which car do you have" and I have documented by hand: "The dream of a white BMW got true!"

Veckans Skiss #192

Jag håller på med en massa LO till mitt PL-album, och strävar efter att få med mycket dokumentation. Här har jag följt Veckans Skiss 192 (se länk).

CSI Challenge No 250

A new case for CSI challenge and a new, happy childhood memory!

Here is my LO I created:

I followed the old style with following clues:
Colors: all colors but I added yellow
Evidence: sold cardstock, clouds, sun, clock, labels, owl, bird, other animals (ladybirds),  puffy stickers, flowers, hand-drawn element, car, string, tied knot, stamping.

Testimony: A childhood memory

Here above you can see: handwritten flowers, 2 ladybirds (really summer for me), label with the year 1970, a lot of flowers that I cut out from pattern papper.

The testimony is a long one about our fantastic summers. My aunt and mother really wanted us and our cousins to meet every summer in my grand parents summer house, and we had a lovely time. The routine to go there every year not just gave us the safe and caring feeling but also a deep friendship to our cousins that still holds. I wrote about what we did together and in the end I told the story about these 2 photos from 1970 (I was 4.5 years old, sitting in blue pyjamas beside my 5 years old coulsine). I remember this so clear, as we were not allowed to be there because it was bed time for us (in north of Sweden it still daylight until 0.00 in the night). We were so happy that nobody has discovered us (not true!!), sitting very quite and listen to my dad, an older cousine and my aunts husband. 

After a while my mother and father started to dance, and I can still hear my grandmother laughing when she is taking these photos. What a clear, happy memory!
