CSI challenge no #261

Hi, I wanted to challenge myself in the funny CSI challenge no 261 (see link) and do a quite different LO in format 6X8 this time, and it was to tell my story about tech - with material from Ali Edwards.

Here is my LO:

This time I didn' got so many evidence as I use to, I focused on the story. I am working as tech sales so the title tech was really good. But as I'm new at current job, I learn a lot and some days ago made a technical test and this test result I have hidden into the envelope (one of the testimonies in CSI challenge).

So how did I solve the case?

Colors: I think I caught some of the colors. 

Evidence: 

Solid white background, clips, envelope, hand-drawn elements, keys, 

Testimony: 

I wrote about my role as tech sales and how I now build up training material and lessons (=the inspiration word). I also wrote about my learning of my new job  and the certification I did last week. Then I did another testimony idea and put the journaling about the test score result from the certifiacation into the envelope.

I think you could say that you can see some keys on this picture. Not sure what key is, but thought about keys on the keyboard and on the phone.

PL i instagramformat i somrig känsla och transparant ficka

Hej, Jag hade svårt att hitta på en rubrik, men hoppas den här fångar upp det jag vill visa. 

Av ren slump har jag under förra året fotat många kvadratiska foton, och sen fått välja formatet 10X10 cm när jag framkallat dem. 
Så jag har införskaffat fickor (lommer) i det formatet och även PL-kort. 

Så här blev min somriga layout för vecka 24 förra året (slutet av juni):

Så här såg det ut innan jag startade:

Jag har använt sparsamt med dekorationer och satsat på overlaystickers med texter, nedan texten "so cute":

Nedan "let's eat" och "17"och sen handskrivet "favorit-mat" (för ovanlighetens skull). 

Men en och annan dekoration har jag lagt till som washitejp och somriga blommor:

Ett foto ville jag gömma för att jag så gärna ville ha med det vackra fjärilskortet, det löste jag så här:

På baksidan av fjärilskortet har jag lagt in journaling med min skrivmaskin, om allt vårt röjande i skogen. Inte så spännande att läsa om för andra, så jag har gömt det så här. 

När jag tror att jag är klar så är jag inte det, utan flyttar runt mina foton och PL-kort tills jag blir nöjd. Här ser ni före och efter flytt :

Anledningen till denna flytt av endast 2 foton, beror på att sidan före har en genomskinlig ficka och det blir mycket snyggare  när man ser igenom och ser det svartvita fotot än min hund. Kolla nedan på närbilden från sidan innan:

CSI No. 236

Hi, 
Time for a new case at CSI (see link).  
I really wanted to document an adventure from last year in Austria.

Here is the LO:

And I followed this case: 

I used the scheme (colors).

I used the evidence: stripes, polka dots, banner, wet medium, bird, animal, twine, buttons, gold.

I used 2 testimony: 

"document an adventure" and  

"hang your journaling from string"

Here you can see that I hanged journaling and banner from a string. You can see my bird (a hen that was walking around at the tables when we had lunch), and buttons.

I like this funny clothespin. 

I had a lot of journaling as you can see.

On the bigger journaling I have documented about the tough trip up to the mountain in Austria. On the smaller tags that was hanging from the string I documented about why we went to Austria (my fathers 75-years birthday), and who I travelled with, when, and where. 

And in the envelope I hided a map of the mountain and on the tag I pasted some other places that we visited during this journey.

Veckans Skiss #157

Sommaren är här och jag PL:ar och scrappar om exakt samma tidpunkt fast förra året. Så här är en LO från 15 juni förra året där jag följt "Veckans Skiss nr 157" (se länk):

Och efter en 90-gradig vridning så blev min tolkning så här, med min favorit : en pappersficka, där jag stoppar ner överblivna foton/dokumentation.

Jag har efter inspiration från Sirap-i-Paris skrivkurs, passat på att dokumentera den här lunchen extra mycket (som syns).

CSI 229

Hi, I really love to do the CSI-challenge, it's really a lot of dimensions to think about and here is case no 229 (see link). Below is my LO, that is from a celebration of my sister's daughters very last school day: her eximination. In Sweden we call it "celebration of becoming a student":

Below is the case:

I followed the  sketch and the colors, the very light blue can be found on the small squared paper with student hats on (right lower corner).

The evidences that I followed: 

Plain cardstock, fruit (pineapple, and this is also found on the photo around the student's neck), sun (on one of the capsules), banners, transport (bus), flowers, arrows, something loopy, word/phrase stickers

Testimony: 

Repetition and documentation of summer. 

Here is the translation of the I repetition:  

To become a student is summer

To become a student is freedom

To become a student is gathering with family and friends

To become a student is flowers and gifts

To become a student is transportation on a truck flatbed

To become a student is euphoria

Then I have a tag hidden with a long documentation of this day the 3 June 2016.

Veckans Skiss #151

Efter en härlig scraphelg i Solna fick jag smyga ner (för att inte reta maken) och scrappa en LO med en ficka för överblivna kort från förra årets scraphelg i Solna. Jag följde Veckans Skiss som Sofi skapat (se länk).  

Så här blev min tolkning:

Här är en närbild:

I fickan har jag lagt tags med överblivna fotona. Tagsen är skapade på en workshop som "Scrapdraken" hade på helgens scrapevent i Solna med distress oxide, och jag har skrivit på baksidan av den ena: 

Tekniken vi fick prova på var att först dra med distressdynan på teflon papper och sen spruta vatten ovanpå med fin spraystråle, och sist hämta upp färgen på tags. Torka. Sen ett nytt lager. Torka. Tills man var nöjd och sist kunde dra över distress genom stencils. 

Den andra tagen är fastsatt i en liten bok med 3 foton, som visar inspiration av ett minialbum som vi gjorde förra året på "Sirap-i-Paris" workshop: 

Och på ena baksidan finns ytterligare ett av mina tester av distress oxide, där vi på denna provade tekniken med att först svampa på distresserna och sen skvätta vatten. 

Här ser vi baksidan på "boken", att jag satt fast sidorna med en brads.

CSI no 223

Now it's the third time I try the CSI-challenge, because it's so funny project to do. Here is the challenge CSI 223 (see link).

And here is my LO: 

I followed the sketch and the colours.

The evidence I used was: stripes, several speech bubbles, clouds, animal (on the photo), ribbon, pleats, monster, a lot of transparent stuff.

The testimony I used was: both "Story in Speech bubbles"  and "unhinged" one of  the 3 Wednesday words. Unhinged is adjective like: for example  mad, insane,  informal crazy, mental, nutso, loco,bananas.  

So I used synonyms to "unhinged" in my subtitles (see below):

And I also used the synonyms to unhinged in my Swedish title "KONSTIG KONST" (= STRANGE ART). (I like to play with words).

Below you can see how I put in a tag in the small paper-bag, I think that it's a perfect way to add photos/journaling that haven't got any place.
