CSI challenge no #261

Hi, I wanted to challenge myself in the funny CSI challenge no 261 (see link) and do a quite different LO in format 6X8 this time, and it was to tell my story about tech - with material from Ali Edwards.

Here is my LO:

And here is the mood board:

This time I didn' got so many evidence as I use to, I focused on the story. I am working as tech sales so the title tech was really good. But as I'm new at current job, I learn a lot and some days ago made a technical test and this test result I have hidden into the envelope (one of the testimonies in CSI challenge).

So how did I solve the case?

Colors: I think I caught some of the colors.

Evidence:
Solid white background, clips, envelope, hand-drawn elements, keys,

    Testimony:
I wrote about my role as tech sales and how I now build up training material and lessons (=the inspiration word). I also wrote about my learning of my new job  and the certification I did last week. Then I did another testimony idea and put the journaling about the test score result from the certifiacation into the envelope.

Here are some closer views of the evidence:

    The envelope and a clip.

If I open the envelope I can find my certification test score result.

Handdrawn frames and small lines and the journaling on a handwritten "like" "mobile phone"- note paper (from Ali Edwards).

I think you could say that you can see some keys on this picture. Not sure what key is, but thought about keys on the keyboard and on the phone.

So funny emballishment from the story kit about tech.

    CSI no #260

Hi, ready for one more CSI challenge no 260 (see link).
    This is my LO:

And this is the mood board that inspired me:

I followed the traditional CSI challenge and solved this:

    colors:all

evidence: Solid white background (some part), floral pattern (Maja design), stripes, spiral notebook paper, anchor, flowers, leaves, watercolor, gold, string, labels, glitter

Some closer views of my evidence:
Evidence: anchor, gold, flower, label, spiral note book, leaves

Evidence: string, label, anchor, gold, glitter

Evidence: flower pattern, stripes, gold, watercolor

    Evidence: glitter flower

testimony: I used the inspiration word bloom, that is important in midsummer eve that we celebrated here, and my flowers I used in the hair as a Swedish tradition

Journaling: I wrote about our yearly tradition to celebrate midsummer eve at either my family or my sisters family, this year 2017 we were at my sisters house. I also told about what we did and always use to do at this day, most eating and talking. And then I talked about the tradition we have in Sweden to have a wreath of flower in the hair, but I just used some few flowers in fabric into my hair. Then I also wrote about the strange thing; that the weather this day use to be rainy or cold in Sweden, but this day was rather sunny - and we enjoyed it so much - this is important as we always force us self to sit outside to eat on midsummer eve (although the weather is bad!) and this is also a Swedish tradition.

Some background paper are from Maja design, that I won from CSI challenge last year. The other papers I don't remember for the moments, the stamps I bought recently from someone who sold them privately.

    CSI challenge #259

Hi and time for a new CSI challenge, no 259 (see link):

    Here is my LO :

And here is the mood board with colors and elements:
I chosed the traditional way to follow the CSI challenge, and at the same time I did a challenge from the Ali Edwards craft the story- community : to use emballishment I didn't use before. I chosed the speech bubbles and that was perfect in this CSI case.

    Testimony
Because one of the testimony was: put journaling in speech bubbles (from Ali Edwards). And another testimony was to write about a trip. My journaling was about how we took a train trip to Alicante to celebrate my husbands birthday 5 July. I also wrote about my son that felt lonely (as his brothers with friends just went home to Sweden).

    Evidence:
Solid white background, map pattern, speech bubbles, transportation, travel-themed elements, food elements, stamping, cursive font, design your layout as a map

    Some closer views:
travel-themed element, cursive font, map pattern, layout as a map: you see the map sign for railway track : the black line crossed with a lot of small, horizontal lines that goes through all my photos.

    food element (Ali Edwards)

stamping, a part of the map symbol for the rail way track

    Colors: I used all colors.

Hi, more scrapping - a paus in the hot summer.
I have scrapped a LO for CSI challenge 258 (see link).

    Here is my LO:

And here is how I solved the case, see the inspiration picture:

    Colors: All colors included

    Evidence:
Stripes, Beach/nautical elements, lobster, glasses, circles, wet medium, elements from the scene: ice cream, shell, beach ball, towel

    Testimony:
    Add journaling on stripes

Here some more pictures with a closer view of my evidence:

Above: lobster, circles, wet medium when I used the nice stencil I won from "Scrapmatts", see the link to the same stencil.

Above: Circle, stripes, nautic elements on paper

Above: Beach element, circles, ice cream

Above: Nautic element, a piece of a shell (left down corner)

Above: My testimony on stripes and here are the translation:

"I'm so happy when I manage to collect my 4 boys,
yes Billy is also counted in as well! (a dog)
It's not so easy to attract the sons to come
to summer house, but ONE thing attract them: the boat!
I mean Joel's own renovated boat. So surprised we became
when suddenly Joel, Raheb and Markus appeared
an early morning by car - the were going to take a boat trip!"

    CSI #257

Swedish summer - I love it (if it's not too cold)!
I scrapped a LO in the form of PL as the CSI 257 had this design in the mood board. See link:

    Here is my ”PL-LO” :

I chosed to follow the traditional way of CSI.

The sheme: almost all colors are included, but the pink is more cerise

Evidence: Floral pattern, stripes, wood, flowers, leaves, pineapple, lemon, banner, clouds, glasses, quadrant design, black & white pattern, string, tiny brads

Testimony: documenting summer (see end of blog)

Some closer looks of my evidence and testimony (in the end):

Above you see: cloud, banner, lime

Above you see: string, cloud, wood,  flower, tiny brads (in the middle of the black & white flowers) black & white pattern, flower

Above you see: wood, leaves, flowers, banner, string

Above you see: pineapple, leave, part of my quadrant layout of my photos and journaling.

    Finally the testimony:
My testimony was written on lemon- paper with more pineapples, wood and string in the top left corner + stripes on a paper behind.

The journaling translated from Swedish to English says:

    "SUMMER WEEKEND
A sucessful Swedish summer includes both sun and rain, as this weekend. But also small, spontaneous excursions and the summer house, boat fix, nature, be together with family. Thanks to the boat we have, our sons visited us. Water skiing was attracting them to come. But, we missed the visit to my parents summer house in middle of Sweden (Jämtland), I didn't have anyone who wanted to join me. "

    CSI challenge #253

The lovely weather in cold Sweden has made me be outside more than inside, scrapping. But of course I wanted to participate in CSI challenge 253 (see link)  because I wanted to write the story about howI started to do scrapbooking.

    So here is my LO:

And I chosed to follow the traditional way of CSI challenge.
    Here is the inspiration picture:

    Colors: I used all
Evidence: Solid cardstock, die cuts, handcutting (turquose flowers), washi tape, leaves, paint, cirkles, metal
Testimony: Documented about my creative hobby, handwriting, word: beginnings

And som closer views with clues.
Evidence: Handcutted flowers, leaves, washi tape,

    Evidence: Paint, circles, metal,

    I like to do layers.

The testimony was handwritten and was about how I started scrapbooking. I first met a girl on a smaller stamp exhibition who invited me and a friend to a scrap meeting. I was creating cards by that time 2003, but really liked the scrap album idea and started after that. The same girl that invited me, I met later when I started to join scrap training for this girl (Therese). And I have participated in many! The only thing I found less good was that I could just use ONE photo per page, I wanted more. So when the Project Life came to my knowledge, I felt really "home" so I combine that with scrap book layouts. And nowadays I write more stories around the photo/photos.
I also love scrap meetings, and these photos are from a scrap meeting where we made mini albums at "Sirap-i-Paris", that unfortunately had to close their webshop/business just recently (in May 2018). The best event every year is the biggest scrap meeting in Sweden (1-2000 participants) that also includes exhibition of scrap booking, planner, knitting, pearls. This is what I look forward to every year.

    Thanks for watching!
